ServiceNow Architectural Review and Roadmap Recommendations

MOGE Consulting offers a pre-defined project and deliverable to review your current architecture and platform usage, analyze business needs, and align a roadmap recommendation with required remediations, good practice recommendations, and a two-year roadmap for maximizing your ServiceNow value for your licensing costs. The project and deliverables are created and delivered by a ServiceNow Certified Master Architect.

The goals are:

  • An Assessment of the current state of configurations to identify any foundational issues that could impact future implementation efforts
  • Architectural guidance and recommendations for current implementation efforts based on best practices
  • Aligning business needs with a (the) platform roadmap, i.e. where can ServiceNow best serve the needs of the business, including improved efficiencies and reduced costs
  • As needed, justification and rationale for additional investment in the ServiceNow platform

The primary goal is to maximize your ServiceNow investment.

The project includes a “Learn” Phase where MOGE learns about the history of, and current roadmap for, the ServiceNow platform, as well as overall business goals and KPIs from Business Process owners. MOGE then analyzes this information along with technical platform assessments to provide feedback about areas of concern and recommendations for short and longer-term implementation strategies to align ServiceNow with the vision and business goals for the customer.

The deliverables are a document containing this analysis and feedback and summary presentation of the findings and recommendations. The intended audience for the document is ServiceNow developers and designers with a working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform architecture. The document is arranged by Platform area, and sub-arranged by current state analysis and roadmap recommendations. The recommendations are ranked by importance and suggested timeframe. The summary presentation is for the larger ServiceNow stakeholder community, and includes an onsite or remote session to review the presentation, the project conclusions, and conduct Q&A.

Here's what is not included: Any pre-canned, re-used deliverables; generic scripts and reports that produce inch-deep, mile-wide findings without any context to your business; lower level resources. This is a bespoke product created from scratch by a Certified Master Architect with 12 years of ServiceNow experience. It will be designed to align directly to your business.

Bio

Greg Mest

Mr. Mest has been working in the Business IT space since 1995. He is a ServiceNow Certified Master Architect who has been consulting, designing and building on the platform since 2010. His experience has run the gamut of the IT function, including web design and development, client and server build and support and technical project management. He has deep knowledge across the ServiceNow platform, with particular experience in the ITIL/ITSM and CSM suites, varied integrations, and custom application development. He has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and process improvement experience, allowing him to quickly and consistently solve problems and provide innovative solutions.

Mr. Mest has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Syracuse University, and an MBA from the University of South Florida. In 2019, Mr. Mest obtained the ServiceNow Certified Master Architect certification, as a graduate of the first-ever program cohort. He is also a member of the American Mensa and Intertel high IQ societies.
